Mercantile Bank opened 10 more new branches


Mercantile Bank Limited has inaugurated its 10 new branches in different locations simultaneously through video conference direct from Westin Hotel Dhaka on December 22, 2016. This pioneering investiture has introduced a new episode in the banking industry of the country.

Finance Minister Abul Mal Abdul Muhith was the chief guest while Governor of Bangladesh Bank  Fazle Kabir was present as special guest on the occasion.

Managing Director and CEO of the Bank Kazi Masihur Rahman presided over the whole digital session of the inauguration session.
Md. Anwarul Haque and A.K.M. Shaheed Reza, Vice Chairmans; Mohd. Selim, Chairman, Executive Committee; Dr. Mahmood Osman Imam, Chairman, Audit Committee; Al-Haj Akram Hussain (Humayun), M. Amanullah & Md. Abdul Hannan Directors, Sponsors S. M. Shafiqul Islam (Mamun), Md. Nasiruddin Choudhury and Sponsor Shareholder S M Abdul Mannan and M A Khan Belal were present on the occasion.

The newly opened branches are: Asad Gate Branch, Dhaka (110th); Lalmonirhat Branch, Lalmonirhat (111st); Nator Branch, Nator (112nd); Sadarghat Branch, Chittagong (113rd); Shimrail Branch, Narayangonj (114th); Goshairhat Branch, Shariatpur (115th); Kankirhat Branch, Noakhali (116th); Mandari Bazar Branch, Laksmipur (117th), Gorai Branch, Tangail (118th) and Gouripur Branch, Ashulia, Dhaka (119th).
