Bangladesh has reached its power generation capacity into a new high of 15,000 megawatts. So, this year the Ministry of Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources has organized the annual Power and Energy Week 2016 from December 7-10, 2016 at the International Convention City Bashundhara in Dhaka.
In addition to revealing this achievement of the new power generation milestone, the Power Division also looks to influence people to use electricity efficiently and raise awareness. It’s a unique opportunity for the government to showcase their achievement in the power sector in the last few years.
In addition, a fair has organized at the venue will exhibit energy efficient electric and electronic products, developed both locally and internationally.
The Power and Energy Week 2016, provided networking opportunities through seminars, workshops and case study analyses, expert views and valuable insights on the market outlook.
This well initiative is creating a hub, where industry stakeholders are being together starting from regulators, policymakers, power companies, innovators, investors, and suppliers. Through intense case studies, it is an opportunity to learn about the success strategies and pitfalls of well-known power projects.
